Daniel Komornik / Aerospace Engineering

First degree in Aerospace Engineering at the Technion.
Second degree in Aerospace Engineering at the Technion.
PhD in Aerospace Engineering at the Technion.

Graduated from the Technion Excellence Program: July 2010.

Personal information: Daniel Komornik was born in Uruguay in 1987 and moved to Israel in 2003.

As a member of Technion’s Excellence Program, he graduated Cum Laude from the faculty of Aerospace Engineering in 2011.

In 2014 he obtained his M.Sc. in Combustion and Propulsion.
In 2019 he graduated from his Ph.D. which researched “Ducted Rockets with Hybrid Gas Generators” under the supervision of Prof. Alon Gany at the Technion.

Daniel did a post-doc under supervision of Prof. Dan Michaels designing and build a Liquid RamJet test facility.

Today (2021): In May 2019, Daniel joined NewRocket as their Chief Propulsion Engineer.
NewRocket is an Israeli Start-up developing advanced, environmentally friendly (“Green Propulsion”) rocket engines based on innovative gel-propellant technology.
