Technion Program for Excellence

Michael (Miki) Makhlevich / Technion Excellence Program

About myself: I was born at Sderot in 1993 and grew up there. In high school, I studied computer science and physics, and took part at Ben-Gurion University math club – “Kidumatica”. I served 5 years as an officer in the intelligence corps, being an analyst and later on product manager. During my last year of service, I also studied art and graphic design at the Open University.

I was backpacking in New Zealand and Nepal for 5 months until I got accepted to pre-accelerator and came back to start my start-up, which failed (no worries, second timers have better odds). Now I’m ready to study.

Hobbies and other activities: Art and museums, big excel sheets, running, hiking (especially the desert), children’s’ books, music festivals, entrepreneurship and good products (oh I love great UX).

Be in touch: If you want to ask something or just have a talk about life, in general I like people. You are welcome to get in touch:

When did you start the program: Winter 2017.
