First degrees in Electrical Engineering and Physics at the Technion.
MSc in Electrical engineering at the Technion.
Participated in the Technion Excellence Program: 2001 – 2004.
Shloimi finished his degrees in about 3 ½ years. He included advanced courses from the Mathematics faculty and Computer Science faculty. He also has been a teaching assistant in the Math and EE faculty, since he was in his 5th semester.
Shloimi did research in the faculty of Electrical Engineering under the supervision of Professor Yael Nemirovsky In the area of novel uncooled IR sensors. They published in the most prestigious magazine in the topic a full paper: “Temperature Sensitivity of SOI-CMOS Transistors for Use in Uncooled Thermal Sensing”, IEEE Transaction on electron devices, Volume 52, Issue 12, Dec. 2005 Page(s):2784 – 2790.
Recommendation to Program participants: “Use all the benefits the Program gives you, to achieve a good foundation. Try to focus on the topics you like, but be open minded to look for solutions from different areas. The Program provides the students with unique opportunities, and is wise not to waste them”.
Today (2012): A PhD student in Electrical Engineering at the Technion under the supervision of Prof. Ran Ginosar.
