About Myself: I was born in Haifa in 1998, and spent most of my early childhood in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania, USA. I graduated from The Hebrew Reali School in Haifa in 2016, majoring in Physics and Chemistry. I served in the Navy’s Network Engineering department for 3 years.
During high school, I did a research project at the Lab for Nano-material-Based Devices (LNBD) in the Technion, under the supervision of Prof. Hossam Haick. The project won two national awards, and I was a co-author of a paper published by the group.
In addition, I took part in a Model UN program for two years, and in my senior year even received Best Delegate award. I also participated in the Dan David Prize youth essay competition at Tel-Aviv University, where I won second place for my essay about Elon Musk, who is one of my role models.
Hobbies and other activities: I like to play the piano, and I enjoy puzzles such as the Rubik’s Cube and escape rooms. The scientific subjects that fascinate me the most are futurism, transportation and clean energy.
When did you start the program?: Winter 2019.
