Dvir Cohen / Biomedical Engineering, Medicine

About myself: I was born in 1993 and grew up in Hod Hasharaon, graduating high school with extended physics and computer science studies. During my teenage years I practiced martial arts, mainly Karate and MMA.

After graduation I began an eight-year service in a combat unit in the Israeli Navy. Upon discharging and Just before I started my first year in the academia, I got a chance to travel across Israel, hiking in Israel National Trail, and also in Asia. Currently I live in Tel Aviv, enjoying the city and the proximity to the beach.

Hobbies and other activities: I like diving and I am also certified as a diving instructor, as well as a sky diver.  In addition, I enjoy hiking, climbing, running for long distances (I completed my first marathon in March) and reading.
