Sujud Abu Atta / Computer Science

About myself: I was born in 1998 in Kufur Qari. I graduated high school majoring in physics and computer science, and finished 6 years of studies at the program for gifted pupils (by ministry of education). During 9th grade I was part of the Odesia program in the Technion, and that’s where my journey at the Technion began.
Since 2015 I volunteer at Hasoub – a grassroots nonprofit promoting technological awareness and entrepreneurship within our Arab society. I work as an instructor for the psychometric exam, and last year I joined as an instructor at Ibtekar, teaching computer science, making and technological-creativity to kids and youth from underprivileged backgrounds.
I’m passionate about technology and science, and believe that with both combined, we can change the world!

Hobbies and other activities: I love coding, I am a pianist and a guitarist, and somewhat a good baker. I like reading Sci-Fi and fantasy books, and I am a big fan of Japanese Anime.

When did you start the program: Winter 2017.
