Danielle Zimrin / Technion Excellence Program

About Myself: I was born in 2005, and grew up in Kiryat Ono. When I was 13 years old, my family and I relocated on a diplomatic mission to the US for four years. In that time, I graduated high school, majoring in Computer Science, Physics, Chemistry, and Mathematics. The world of STEM always interested me and in high school I was the captain of the Physics team in my school and the president and founder of the “Girls Who Code” club.

Hobbies and other activities: I really enjoy playing chess and even represented Israel in several international chess championships (including the World Chess Championship and the European Chess Championship). I also love traveling in Israel and around the world, reading, and spending time with my friends and family.

When did you start the program?  Winter 2022.
