About Myself: I was born in 2004 and grew up in Bat Yam. I graduated from Hashmonaim High School, majoring in Physics and Chemistry.
During my middle school years, I participated in several Math competitions, and won third place in the Mofet Math Competition, as well as first place in the Sodkot Math Contest.
During high school, I participated in the National Neuroscience Program at the Weizmann Institute of Science. It is worth mentioning that during my last year in the program, I chose a curriculum centered around machine learning and learnt about artificial neural networks, as well as how to create and test them in Matlab.
In the last year of high school, I took part in a training program for the IBO (International Biology Olympiad), which was held at Tel Aviv University. Both the Biology and the Neuroscience programs gave me valuable experience in conducting research and working in laboratory conditions.
In addition, I took an introductory computer science course at Tel Aviv University in order to broaden my spectrum of knowledge.
In the meantime, I began gaining increasing interest in Physics, especially in Quantum Physics. I have read many articles related to the subject, regarding topics such as the double-slit experiment, quantum field theory, quantum tunneling and more. I was particularly interested in the idea of quantum computers.
Hobbies and activities: I love drawing (both traditionally and digitally), reading, writing (I am even working on a book of my own), playing the guitar and doing different sports such as dancing and boxing.
When did you start the program? Winter 2022.
