About myself:

From my early years in Bishkek, Kyrgyzstan, I was drawn to numbers. Learning arithmetic with my nanny sparked a lasting interest in mathematics and science. Attending a Jewish school, Tuesdays became my favorite day with a lineup of math, chemistry, and physics classes, topped off with traditional Jewish dances. Though I was often labeled as a "genius," I simply enjoyed learning.

After graduating, I pursued medicine at the Technion but hit a roadblock with the Hebrew-language personality exam. This setback led me to reassess my goals during my military service, where I realized my true passion lay in the sciences.

Choosing a field was tough given my wide-ranging interests, but an excellence program offered the perfect solution—a chance to explore multiple disciplines. Today, armed with a BSc in Electrical Engineering and Physics, followed by an MSc in Electrical Engineering, I'm eager to apply my diverse knowledge to make meaningful contributions in the scientific and technological community.

Hobbies and other activities:

Running, painting

Current workplace and position:

I'm currently employed as an Algorithms Researcher at Jether Energy Research, a company founded by two alumni of the excellence program.

What impact did the program have on your professional life:

The program left a lasting impression on my professional path, mainly through the wonderful people I met. Among them were individuals of exceptional brilliance, some of whom are now cherished friends, while others have become trusted colleagues. These connections have added a special dimension to my career, making each step forward both meaningful and enjoyable.

Your message to the new generation of students in the program
