Quantum Computing & Algorithms | MSc Mathematics
Faculty of Mathematics and Physics

BSc in Mathematics and Physics, MSc in Mathematics from the Technion.

About Myself: I was born in 1994 in Netanya and graduated “Rupin” high school in 2012.
At school I expanded Physics, Chemistry and Biotechnology. I was also in “Mofet program” – which means I took extra classes in Math and finished my math matriculation exams earlier than usual.

In the army I was a tank commander in the IDF. It was a great opportunity to learn and witness the combination between science and technology.
During my service I took a Math course in the Open University (linear algebra) and I fell in love with Math (the “real” Math).

After my service I knew I wanted to fill my days with the things I love the most.
I started to work as a tutor for Math and Physics with high school students, joined the amazing team of instructors at the Planetarium in my hometown and started to give extra-knowledge classes on physics in high schools.
I also set up a small laboratory in my home – where I did some experiments in physics, learned and tutored.

Hobbies and other activities: I enjoy riddles, puzzles, board games and everything that makes you think. Friends, music, podcasts, books, writing and hiking are also a big part of my life.

When did you start the program: Winter 2018.

Recommendations for new students: Extracurricular activities tend to be the gate to the most fascinating opportunities – take advantage of the benefits the program gives you. Help each other, having a community before you even started to study is a great advantage. Start your research experience early and stick to it if you can. It will prove itself beneficial.
