First degree in Mathematics with Computer Science at the Technion.
MSc and Ph.D in Computer Science at the University of Toronto, Canada.
Postdoctoral fellowship at the Microsoft Research New England lab.
Participated in the Technion Excellence Program: 2000 – 2001.
Mark used the opportunity to enroll to many courses (well above the limit), and explore different areas of Mathematics and Computer Science.
He did a research project under the supervision of Professor Baruch Granovsy from the faculty of Mathematics: "On the time dynamics of the covering function of nearest-neighbor spin systems on regular graphs."
Mark was an assistant professor at the Depts. of Mathematics & Computer Science at the University of Toronto.
Recommendation to Program participants: "Try to learn as much as you can. Especially if you are on a three-year program. It is more difficult later on!"
