BSc in Chemistry at the Technion.
MSc in Chemistry at the Weizmann Institute of Science.
PhD in Physical Chemistry from the Massachusetts Institute of Technology.
Postdoctoral fellowship at Harvard and Cambridge.
Participated in the Technion Excellence Program: June 1993 – June 1996.
During his studies in the framework of the Program utilized the academic advantages to skip preliminary courses and take advanced courses, to build a multi-disciplinary curriculum. He carried out research in "computational quantum chemistry" under the supervision of Prof. Yitzhak Apeloig at the Faculty of Chemistry.
About the Program: "It enabled me to acquire a rich and multi-disciplinary education. Today, I can approach challenging scientific problems and utilize tools and ideas from diverse fields. I have dealt with a variety of problems in the areas of chemistry (organometallic, physical, electrochemistry), physics (solid state physics, nano-materials, devices), and biology (medical imaging).
Recommendation to Program participants: "Being in the program implies that you have a variety of options and privileges. Utilize them to the fullest."
