BSc in Electrical Engineering and Physics, MSc and PhD in Electrical Engineering at the Technion.

Participated in the Technion Excellence Program: 2001 – 2004

Shloimi finished his degree in about 3 ½ years. He included advanced courses from the Mathematics and Computer Science. He was also a teaching assistant at the Mathematics and EE faculties since he was in his 5th semester.

Shlomi conducted research at the Faculty of Electrical Engineering under the supervision of Professor Yael Nemirovsky in the field of novel uncooled IR sensors.  They published a full paper in the most prestigious magazine on the topic "Temperature Sensitivity of SOI-CMOS Transistors for Use in Uncooled Thermal Sensing", IEEE Transactions on Electron Devices, Volume 52,  Issue 12,  Dec. 2005, Page(s):2784 – 2790.

Recommendation to Program participants: "Use all the benefits the Program gives you to achieve a good foundation. Try to focus on the topics you like, but be open minded to look for solutions from different areas. The Program provides the students with unique opportunities, and is wise not to waste them".
