The program allowed Tanya to start her research project much earlier than others in her class. She also enjoyed the interesting lectures during the semester, and the Program was a big financial help, which allowed her to focus entirely on my studies.
Tanya conducted research in Prof. Yuval Shoham's lab, about Quorum sensing (a system of stimulus and response correlated to population density) in bacteria.
