Tomer studied a lot of advanced courses right from the first year, as well as courses in Biology, Chemistry, and Biomedical Engineering. He took some of the courses with pass/fail grade, which allowed him to study a lot without worrying about his cumulative average. Also, during his undergraduate studies, Tomer worked on an innovative project in which he developed a model for interactive composition.
