Participated in the Technion Excellence Program: Winter 2015 – Spring 2018.
Recommendation to Program participants: I recommend anyone to join this program! The program let me focus on my studies and not bother dealing with bureaucracy which you won’t realize how important and convenient it is. Also, the program’s students are great people and it was easier to start the academic studies as a group- some of them will definitely be friends for life. On the academic side, I strongly recommend you to strive for starting a research after the 4th semester- you’ll learn a lot during it and you will be able to decide whether you like the subject or not. Actually, summer is a great starting point for a project because you have much more time than during the semester. My research is what made me understand this is the subject I want to major in my Msc.
And of course- don’t forget to have fun! Technion’s life is much more fun than you might have heard from rumors.
Today (2018): I have just started MSc. in the Nano program under the supervision of Prof. Ido Kaminer. Mainly dealing light-matter interaction.
