First degree in Mathematics with Computer Science at the Technion.
MSc and Ph.D in Computer Science at the University of Toronto, Canada.
Post-doc at the Microsoft Research New England lab.
Participated in the Technion Excellence Program: 2000 – 2001.
Mark used the opportunity to enroll to many courses (well above the limit), and explore different areas of Mathematics and Computer Science.
He did a research project under the supervision of Professor Baruch Granovsy from the faculty of Mathematics: “On the time dynamics of the covering function of nearest-neighbor spin systems on regular graphs.”
Mark was an assistant professor at the Depts. of Mathematics & Computer Science at the University of Toronto.
Today (2018): Professor of Computer Science at Princeton.
Recommendation to Program participants: “Try to learn as much as you can. Especially if you are on a three-year program. It is more difficult later on!”
