About Myself: Born in Tel Aviv, growing up I was fortunate enough to spend 10 of my school years in gifted student programs, fostering my passion for Puzzles, Computers, Mathematics, History and Geopolitics. In high school, In addition to my majors of computer science and physics at school, I participated in an extracurricular program at the Weizmann Institute of Science for two years, and was awarded with highest honor for my studies in the field of Computer Vision.
Outside the classroom, I spent 5 years as a guide in a youth movement promoting education, community and leadership. I’ve had the privilege to partake in the Young Ambassadors program under the Israeli Ministry of Foreign Affairs for 3 years, learning about public speaking, diplomacy, global conflicts, media and government. One achievement I am especially proud of is receiving the European Junior Achievement Award. In the competition, featuring over 100 teams from across Europe, my team of young entrepreneurs and I was awarded first place with our company, after developing a product aimed at promoting a healthy lifestyle among children.
Embarking on real world challenges, the next step in my journey was a 4 year military service in the IDF Intelligence Corps. Working in the field of Data Science, my military service gave me the opportunity to acquire hands-on experience in machine learning R&D and product management. It helped foster my thirst for knowledge, especially in the domains of Computer Vision, Data Science, Mathematics and Computer Science.
Hobbies and activities: I enjoy reading, especially novels and history books. Listening to music is also a favorite activity of mine, I favor 60’s and 70’s rock music for upbeat moments, and Jazz and Blues for reading and studying.
As for sports, I especially enjoy competitive and team sports. I used to compete in Fencing, even ranked 2nd place at the National Fencing Championship. In high school, I played American Football for two years, my team winning national 1st place in both seasons.
