My name is Yarden Horev. I was born in 2003 and grew up in Arad, a small city in the desert. I have always loved science and mathematics and enjoyed taking on challenges. In high school, I majored in Physics and Chemistry, and alongside my studies, I volunteered with Holocaust survivors through a program called “Mehubarim.”
Sports have always played a significant role in my life. I was a member of my district’s track and field team, specializing in middle-distance running, and eventually became the Israeli champion in the 2000m steeplechase.
After high school, I served as a cybersecurity researcher in the IDF.
Today, my main interest outside of my studies is triathlon. When I’m not swimming, running, or cycling, I enjoy reading and traveling.
