About Myself:
My name is Guy Dar, and I was born and raised in Moshav Ge’alya. In the fall of 2025, I began my studies in Civil Engineering at the Technion, a field that excites me for its blend of mathematics, problem-solving, and meaningful real-world impact.
During high school at Givat Brenner, as part of an excellence program, I completed a mathematics final project that was awarded a prize by the Ministry of Education. This experience strengthened my analytical thinking and exposed me to university-level challenges at an early stage.
I served in the Israel Defense Forces as a UAV operator in the Air Force, gaining technical and operational skills and taking an active role in the “Iron Swords” war effort.
Hobbies and other activities:
Alongside my academic and military experiences, I have been actively involved in my community’s youth movement, The Israeli Scouts – Gan Raveh Tribe, serving as a guide and age-group leader. These roles taught me teamwork and leadership, and gave me friendships that will last a lifetime.
I enjoy sports, including basketball and working out at the gym, as well as watching movies and learning Arabic.
