Renan Gross / Mathematics

About myself:

I spent my high school years in the Israel Arts and Science Academy, during which I found delight in programming, music, and freedom of action. Logical deduction and the scientific method are the way to go, when trying to understand the world (an honorable intention), so mathematics and physics it is. However, if only time permitted, I would also devote myself to biology, artificial intelligence, linguistics, anthropology, neurology, robotics, quantum computing, space exploration…

Curse the limitations of mortality.

When did you start the program: Winter 2012.

Hobbies and other activities:

I play the piano, and like both solo and chamber music. I cycle, practice martial arts, and slackline for fun and sports. In between I enjoy reading, especially popular science and sci-fi, and Spoken Word and Poetry Slams. I also maintain a sparsely-updated blog in which I post my scientific and literary explorations.
