First degree in Chemistry & Physics at the Technion.
Participated in the Technion Excellence Program: 2006 – 2010
The double major degree Dan studied isn’t offered by the Technion as a built study course, so without the help of the program he wouldn't have been able to finish his degree at that period of time. The help he got included an “open door” policy at the professors offices, academic advisors from each faculty and of course a generous scholarship that allowed him to focus on studying and nothing else.
Dan did some small research projects with several professors at different areas of physics, unfortunately, since he was drafted to military service at the end of his studies, he couldn’t continue the research further.
Recommendation to Program participants: "Use all the benefits of the program: as a student of the excellence program all the doors are open to you and it’s a shame not to use it, especially the willingness of the faculty staff to help you and the professors to let you in their research groups."
Today (2012): Serving in the IDF.
