Omer Eyal  / Technion Excellence Program

About Myself:  I was born in 2003 in Jerusalem. When I was three years old, my family moved to Seattle, where we lived for five years. In 2021, I graduated from the Hebrew University Secondary School (Leyada), majoring in Physics, Chemistry, and History. During my time there, I was an active participant in the school's Model United Nations team.

As part of the 'Alpha' program, I worked as a research assistant in a chemistry lab at the Hebrew University of Jerusalem under the guidance of Prof. David Avnir and Dr. Nir Ganonyan. My research focused on ultra-low-density nickel aerogels, for which I was awarded 1st Place in Chemistry at the Regeneron International Science and Engineering Fair.

Hobbies and Other Activities:  I enjoy drawing, reading, hiking, and running
